Schulenburg is a German/Czech community located
on Highway 77, two blocks south of Interstate 10 at the center of a circle
bounded by San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Victoria. Our RV Park
features 45 pullthrus with full hookups (23, 30 and 50 amps), TV, private
showers, basketball area, computer jack, pond stocked with perch and ducks,
and many shaded sites.
Historic treasures of the area are the Painted
Churches. Ornate altars, marbleized columns, painted and stenciled
ceiling are bonded by arches and stained glass windows. NEW in
Schulenburg is the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum. The Museum features
more than 30 displays capturing the thrill, excitement, and history of model
aircraft developed through the last 75 years by the Stanzel brothers!
