Schulenburg Painted Church Tour – Hand painted murals featured in “Southern Living” (April 2001) and “Texas Highways” (Oct. 1999), can be viewed in historic rural churches in a self-guided tour. Contact the Chamber of Commerce if a guide is desired. (866) 504-5294.

Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum – Schulenburg. Features interactive exhibits with 30-plus displays capturing the thrill, excitement, and history of model aircraft. The tour begins with a multimedia presentation of the history of flight. Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:30am – 4:30pm, Sunday 1:30am – 4:30pm (979) 743-6559.
